Meet our talented instructors at Barre MØDE: Jenny Wiglesworth, Cortney Brown, Emily Plummer, Brittney Edwards and Sofia Borisova. Our instructors offer students a diverse range of teaching styles, fresh challenges, and specialized guidance, ensuring a well-rounded experience. It keeps classes engaging, provides more scheduling flexibility, and fosters deeper connections with mentors, helping students grow and progress in their practice.
My name is Cortney Brown, I have been married to my best friend for almost 17 years. I have 5 amazing children and 2 wonderful grandkids. I have been a certified personal trainer for 10 years, a group fitness specialist for 8 and barre certified since 2018. Barre is my passion. I love to help women become their best selves, and the community that comes with it is the best.
Fitness has always been a part of my life, from playing sports growing up to exploring different workout styles as an adult. After facing back issues, I turned to barre to regain my balance and strengthen my body, and it completely transformed my approach to fitness. I’m now a certified instructor for Barre Mode and have completed Barre Intensity training. Now I’m passionate about helping others experience the benefits of barre. It’s incredible to see how this method can empower people to feel stronger and more confident, both inside and outside the studio.
